MAKE THE WEEKEND FUN FOR EVERYONE

THE PROPCON EVENT POLICIES

Clear conduct, safety, prop, photography, accessibility, and reporting expectations for the event.

Last updated August 28, 2026.

Be part of the fun

The PropCon welcomes fans, families, makers, artists, performers, exhibitors, and collectors. Treat people, costumes, identities, personal space, property, and creative work with respect.

Harassment is not permitted

Harassment, threats, stalking, hate-based conduct, unwanted physical contact, deliberate intimidation, and repeated unwanted attention are not permitted. Stop when someone asks you to stop. Report an immediate concern to event or venue staff.

Costumes, props, and weapons

Real weapons are not permitted. Costume props must be carried and used safely. Do not swing, throw, brandish, or use a prop in a way that could injure or alarm another person. Items may be inspected or restricted when required for event or venue safety.

Photography and consent

Ask before taking a posed photo of another attendee, cosplayer, child, vendor display, or original artwork. A costume is not automatic consent to a close-up photo or physical contact. Respect a request not to be photographed.

The PropCon is a public event where organizer, media, exhibitor, and attendee photography may occur. Attendees may appear incidentally in crowd or event images. Parents and guardians decide whether minors participate in posed photos.

Families and minors

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children in their care. Kids age 10 and under receive free admission. The giveaway form is limited to entrants age 18 or older.

Vendor and guest boundaries

Do not enter a booth, backstage space, storage area, or restricted event area without permission. Follow posted rules for guest lines, autographs, demonstrations, tournaments, attractions, and optional paid activities.

Accessibility and assistance

For an event accessibility question, email info@thepropsite.com. The Ocean Center publishes current venue accessibility information. Please do not block accessible routes, seating, entrances, or service-animal access.

Reporting a concern

For a non-emergency event concern, contact event or venue staff or email info@thepropsite.com. In an emergency, call 911. Serious or repeated policy violations may result in refused entry or removal without a refund.
